Bishops provides 5-star guest accommodation in a traditional Victorian villa, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

York's medieval city walls are just 900 metres away and the magnificent York Minster is a 25-minute stroll. The property is a proud winner of York Tourism Awards' 'Guest House of the Year' 2012 and 2013. Rooms are spacious and individually designed, with double-glazed windows to provide peace and quiet. Every room has a large flat-screen TV, en suite bathroom with free toiletries, and facilities for making tea and coffee. You can enjoy a delicious Yorkshire breakfast in the morning, served in a sunny dining room with views of the gardens. There is a fresh buffet every day with fresh fruit salad, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options. Bishops also has a licensed lounge, where you can unwind with a newspaper or a drink. Bishops is a short walk from the bus and train stations, and the Olde Worlde shops and streets of the Shambles. Guests can take a picturesque stroll on top of the city walls from Micklegate Bar. The National Rail Museum is an 8-minute walk away, and Castle Museum is also close by.
